About GridDigest

GridDigest is an independent energy-news desk covering electricity markets, renewables, grids and policy — with a particular focus on Southeast Europe and the wider EU. We pull from many publishers continuously, deduplicate and rank the day's stories, and pair the wire with original reporting and open market data.

How it works

Most of what you see is aggregation that links straight to the original publisher: we store only a headline, a short summary and the link, and we send every click onward to the source. For the biggest stories we publish original synthesis — a staff-written article that combines several reports in our own words, with every source cited and linked. We never re-host a publisher's article body or images.

Market data

Day-ahead wholesale electricity prices come from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform and are reused under CC-BY 4.0. We publish only open, freely-reusable series and never re-publish restricted exchange or member-only market data. Prices are indicative and are not an offer to trade. See the market data pages.

Independence
