Indian refiner HPCL buys Nigerian crude to diversify supply sources

State-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited purchased 2 million barrels of Nigerian crude from Glencore to reduce dependence on Middle Eastern oil supplies. The crude will supply HPCL's Rajasthan refinery.
