Meridian Energy wins draft approval for Lake Pūkaki hydro storage access

New Zealand's Meridian Energy received a draft decision to ease restrictions on accessing 545 GWh of contingent hydro storage at Lake Pūkaki. The approval allows the utility greater flexibility in managing water resources.
